S.M.O.O.T.H. is a nonprofit organization that aids in informing, impacting, and improving the lives of single mothers; mentally, physically, financially, educationally, and spiritually. This organization has been on such a high demand, the Founder Betty Mayfield put together a tour to visit several cities throughout the United States spreading empowerment, parental education, and helpful resources. S.M.O.O.T.H. also has been invited to Paris France, Canada, and Uganda Africa to fulfill it's mission in assisting single mothers.

S.M.O.O.T.H. has an annual awards Gala, to honor and appreciate single mothers. This is an event that caters to single moms on a major scale, they are showered with royal treatment. In addition, S.M.O.O.T.H. feed less fortunate families, homeless, and the elderly. They aim to be of great service to many communities.

On September 26, 2011 my favorite aunt was murdered she was a single parent for years until she got married. I decided to honor her by dedicating this group to her. On October 22, 2011 Smooth was changed to: The Pamela Dolison Foundation S.M.O.O.T.H. now focusing on single parenting & educating women about domestic violence.

June 8, 2013 S.M.O.O.T.H. opened another division in Charlotte, NC.

Tour

SMOOTH Tour

The purpose of the SMOOTH tour is to travel to various cities promoting this outstanding movement. SMOOTH goes into a city to inspire the single mothers; letting each of them know that they have not been deserted on this journey of raising child/ren. This event is held on a Saturday. Saturday morning the single mothers meet at a remote location in order to embrace each other. There is a group discussion on the issues that single mothers are facing as of today. We discuss situations that are a hindrance to the single mother movement and how we can come together to combat those situations. A few women are then allowed to tell their testimonies of how they have overcame various obstacles, in life, as a single mother. Also, we will touch on the second division of SMOOTH, which is domestic violence. In this event door prizes and resourceful information is made available to each woman. Then, Saturday night the ladies meet up at a restaurant to celebrate the success of being a single mother. They will be encourage to keep the SMOOTH movement going in their city and possibly opening a SMOOTH office in their city.

Banquet

The purpose of the SMOOTH banquet is to celebrate single mothers. The whole night will be dedicated to shining the light on them and their many accomplishments. This is a formal event, the mothers will wear nice evening gowns and be pampered with music, gifts, and inspiration. We will have a key note speaker to impart into each mother’s life, singers to sing hope into their lives, and poets to flow power into their lives. This will be a night that every single mother will receive royal treatment. We will honor them for their hard work and dedication to S.M.O.O.T.H. and to their children. We are aiming to make them feel special and appreciated.
